logworm is made by Pomelo, LLC. We are a very small software company with a grand goal: we want to help people build reliable, secure, highly-scalable, and highly-available Internet applications.
We spend our days working as consultants for large corporations, designing and building scalable architectures for them. Then by night we figure out how to implement some of the components of those architectures in such a way that they can actually be afforded by smaller developers, consultants, and startups. Following the "computing as utility" model, we then offer those components as services that developers can easily add to their applications.
It's a win-win situation for all: we get to learn, design, and build web-scale solutions, which is where our passion is; you get to focus on your product, which is where your passion is; and the Internet becomes a better place for all.
Our focus is on small developers. We are NOT trying to compete with well-established brands and enterprise-scale solutions. Instead we want to build tools and services that solve the needs of small developers, at the scale of their problems and their pockets. Our goal is to make sure that everybody, not just corporations with big budgets, can build their applications using sound architectural principles and solutions.
Our focus is therefore on
logworm is our first service, but there are more coming.
As we said, in spite of the grand goals, we're a very small company. We love to hear from current or potential users. Do drop us a line if you're interested in our products or our philosophy in general. You can reach as at:
